Playlist 2 by Blanck Mass

Blanck Mass should be no stranger to the fans of experimental electronic music. Benjamin John Power, the man behind the Blanck Mass solo project and one half of Fuck Buttons, curates Tide Magazine’s second playlist.

Rashad Becker starts the playlist off with the single Dances V, a very eerie and warped piece which makes you feel as if you’re somewhere not really human. Moving onto something which feels like such a classic electronic song like Dreamcatcher by Black Meteoric Star, a 14 minute long tune which is sure to get your feet moving, if not at least tapping your fingers. Whilst also throwing songs by metal bands such as Iron Monkey, a country classic by Marie Osmond and then finally leaving us with the 80’s classic These Days by Heart and Ann Wilson.

Blanck Mass’ long out of print first LP is being reissued by Sacred Bones and will be available on Record store Day 2020 (18th of April) and we encourage you not to miss out on it.
